Behind Integral Executive
Twenty-five years embedded with founders. Twenty books. One merger that was overdue.
Integral Executive is led by Brett Thomas, founder of Integral Corporation.
Brett has spent twenty-five years as a CEO coach, advisor, and embedded operator inside founder-led businesses: roughly twenty thousand hours across the table from owners navigating exactly the transitions this practice exists to solve. He is the author of twenty books on leadership, management, and business strategy, including six on AI for established businesses.
The three dimensions, their nine-part systems, and the four dimensions of AI transformation that structure every installation are published and documented. You can read the operating system before you buy it.

The Merger
Our Clients Invented This. We Formalized It.
For years, Integral ran its practices separately. Integral Associates placed senior consulting and fractional leadership inside founder-led businesses. Integral Digital designed and built AI agents and systems.
The clients merged them before we did. Fractional clients kept asking for the AI leverage. AI clients kept needing senior judgment about what to build and leadership through adoption. They bought both, paid for both, and stitched the integration together themselves.
Integral Executive is the formalization: one engagement combining embedded executive leadership with a custom AI team, at one price, with one defining commitment: when the engagement ends, everything built belongs to the client. It's more cost-effective than the pieces, higher ROI than either alone, and it's the model we believe this entire industry eventually adopts. We'd rather lead that than follow it.

Why AI Requires Leadership Maturity
AI is not simply a new category of software. It changes decision velocity, information flow, role clarity, incentive structures, accountability, and execution rhythm inside your company. When adopted without leadership, AI amplifies confusion. When led deliberately, it amplifies advantage.
This is why every Integral Executive installation carries AI leverage inside it rather than beside it. The executive who redesigns your process is the same person who decides where automation belongs and directs the agent team building it. Sequencing beats speed, because premature automation creates fragility, and fragility is expensive.
Our Philosophy
Traditional consulting installs systems without installing leadership. The consultant leaves and the company is left with tools it doesn't understand, decisions it didn't make, and a dependency it can't sustain.
Random experimentation is worse. It creates chaos, burns budget, exhausts the team, and produces nothing the founder can point to as progress.
Integral Executive is the alternative. Someone senior takes the seat, owns the outcome, works inside the weekly rhythm of the business, and installs an AI team that stays after the engagement ends because it was built into the company rather than delivered to it.
Judgment over tools. Sequencing over speed. Ownership over dependency. Calm conviction over hype.

About Brett Thomas
Brett Thomas — Founder, Integral Corporation

Brett Thomas
Founder and CEO
Brett Thomas has spent twenty-five years advising founders and CEOs of established businesses. He has logged twenty thousand hours as a CEO coach helping founders make consequential decisions about their companies.
He is the author of twenty books on leadership, management, and business strategy, including a six-book series on AI for established businesses: Disruption and AI, Leadership and AI, Management and AI, Enterprise and AI, ROI and AI, and Revenue and AI.
He is the founder of Integral Corporation, a multi-division advisory and implementation firm based in Austin, Texas. Integral Executive is the merger of that firm's consulting practice and its AI build capability: the strategic judgment of a longtime CEO advisor combined with a team that deploys working AI systems inside real companies every week.
Brett is not a consultant who hands you a deck and disappears. He is not a technologist who speaks in jargon. He is a founder who has spent three decades in the operational trenches, built and pivoted companies, made expensive mistakes in public, and documented all of it across twenty books.
Working with Ken Wilber, he co-created Integral Leadership. He co-founded two of the most respected leadership academies. He is the founder of a successful 501c3 humanitarian organization. And for the last several years, he has been in the trenches helping established businesses implement AI with the discipline and judgment that twenty-five years of advisory work demands.
Our Values
What guides the way we build, advise, and innovate
Human-Centered
AI amplifies people, it doesn't replace them
Results, Not Hype
everything we build produces measurable ROI
Judgment Over Tools
The right decision matters more than the right software. Tools change every six months. Sound judgment compounds for decades.
Sequencing Over Speed
Moving fast without direction creates more damage than moving slowly with conviction. The order of decisions matters as much as the decisions themselves.
Clarity & Discipline
simple systems outperform chaos
The Integral Family
Where Integral Executive Fits
Integral Executive is one of several practices under Integral Corporation, each a different engagement mode on the same body of methodology.
Integral CEO is private weekly advisory for CEOs leading AI transformation personally, with Brett as counsel. If you want to own the transformation yourself and think it through with a trusted advisor every week, that's the right room. If you want the transformation led alongside you, with an executive in the business and a team installed, you're already in the right place. Many leaders do one, then the other.
Integral Associates is done-with-you consulting on specific challenges. Integral Digital is done-for-you AI builds and custom software. Integral Publishing publishes the books behind all of it.
Different doors, one practice. The diagnostic conversation will tell you honestly which door fits, even when the answer isn't this one.
Start With a Conversation
Sixty minutes. No pitch. An honest diagnosis of which dimension is constraining your business.
